My creative journey began long before this moment. As a selector of music, I discovered the power of sound — how a single rhythm could shift the energy in a room, how music could connect strangers without a word. My love for electronic music was formed in the UK, Europe, and Africa, and for over a decade, I’ve carried that energy into my life and work in the Middle East. That same power is what I now chase in colour, shape, and design.
Every poster is born from experience: the people I’ve met, the places I’ve travelled, the cultures and landscapes that have moved me. Sometimes it’s a conversation, sometimes it’s blocking out the noise and embracing the surroundings. Other times, it’s the pulse of a bassline that paints the canvas in my mind.
This store is not just about buying art. It’s about stepping into a story — one that began with me, but might just continue with you. When art enters your home, it becomes an integral part of your life.
Influences
My work is deeply shaped by artists who saw beyond the surface. Hilma af Klint inspires me through her use of abstraction to translate the unseen — the spiritual, the emotional, the rhythms of life. Yayoi Kusama reminds me of the power of immersion, how repetition, colour, and form can pull us into another world entirely.
Their visions align with my own journey — transforming sound into colour, experiences into design, and spaces into stories. While my posters are born from music, travel, and personal connection, they share that same desire: to create art that lives beyond the canvas, reaching into how we feel and how we inhabit our spaces.
